RCX Sports and Arizona Parks and Recreation Association Partner to Strengthen Youth Sports Systems Statewide

Partnership brings NFL FLAG, MLS GO, Jr. NBA/WNBA, NHL STREET™, and MLB programming to local organizations

[CHANDLER, AZ] –  A new chapter for youth sports in Arizona is underway as RCX Sports, the leader in youth sports experiences and the official youth sports operator for the NFL, NBA, WNBA, NHL, MLS, and MLB, today announced a new partnership with the Arizona Parks and Recreation Association (APRA) to strengthen youth sports systems and elevate programming opportunities throughout the state.

Through this partnership, RCX will work alongside APRA, its Athletics Team, and its statewide network to reinforce the foundation of local youth sports by supporting the coaches, administrators, and organizations that deliver programming on the ground. The collaboration will introduce professional league-affiliated programming, including NFL FLAG, MLS GO, Jr. NBA/WNBA Leagues, NHL STREET™, and MLB programs, along with the training, resources, and operational support needed to help organizations run sustainable, high-quality experiences. By investing in the people and systems that power youth sports at the local level, the effort is designed to increase participation and deliver more consistent, engaging opportunities for young athletes across Arizona.

APRA joins RCX Sports’ growing national network of state partners as part of its broader expansion, becoming the organization’s 11th statewide parks and recreation association partner. As Arizona’s official youth sports partner, this multi-year collaboration will support APRA and its Athletics Team in elevating local agency programming and expanding participation opportunities across the state. RCX will also extend its national collaboration with MLS GO and NRPA to the state and local level.

“Youth sports don’t grow without strong local leadership and infrastructure,” said Izell Reese, CEO and Founder of RCX Sports. “By partnering with APRA, we’re supporting the professionals and organizations that make these programs possible. We’re providing the tools, resources, and league connections needed to deliver consistent, high-quality experiences. That’s how you create more opportunities for kids across Arizona and build programs that last.”

“APRA is proud to partner with RCX Sports in a way that reflects our commitment to investing in the future of youth sports across Arizona. This partnership is more than sponsorship, it is an opportunity to inspire communities, strengthen local programs, develop coaches, and create meaningful pathways for young athletes to grow, compete, and belong. Together, we are building stronger connections, expanding opportunities, and helping shape the next generation through the power of parks, recreation, and sport.” – Tina Royer, APRA President

Separately, APRA leadership emphasized the day-to-day impact this partnership will have on local agencies and their communities.

“Youth sports are one of the most powerful tools parks and recreation departments have to foster teamwork, confidence, and healthy lifestyles. By partnering with RCX Sports, APRA members gain access to trusted resources, officially licensed uniforms, and expert support to elevate the leagues and events they provide in their communities statewide.” – Dawnee Moreno, APRA Vice-President
