RCX Sports Announces New State Partnerships with Washington, Idaho, and Oregon Park and Recreation Associations to Expand Youth Sports Access in the Pacific Northwest

RCX Sports strengthens national network, bringing high-quality, inclusive programming to local communities across the Northwest.

ATLANTA, GA — [October 14, 2025] RCX Sports, the leader in youth sports experiences and the official youth sports operator for the NFL, NBA, WNBA, NHL, MLS, MLB, and USTA, today announced new statewide partnerships with the Washington Recreation and Park Association (WRPA), the Idaho Recreation and Parks Association (IRPA), and the Oregon Recreation and Parks Association (ORPA) to expand youth sports access across the Pacific Northwest.

Through these partnerships, RCX Sports will work with the statewide parks and recreation associations to expand access to professional league-affiliated programming while equipping local coaches and staff with training and resources. The goal is to strengthen community-based sports programs, ensuring they are safe, inclusive, and built to last. By investing in local networks, RCX is creating pathways for more young athletes across the Pacific Northwest to stay active, develop skills, and experience the lifelong benefits of play.

As part of this commitment, local parks and recreation agencies across the region can also apply for the NRPA x MLS GO Fund – a national initiative supported by RCX Sports and Major League Soccer that provides grants to help communities launch and grow youth soccer programming. This fund complements the new statewide partnerships by offering direct financial resources to local agencies.

“Our expansion in the Pacific Northwest reflects a bigger vision — making sure that every child, from every community, has the chance to play the games they watch on the biggest stages,” says Izell Reese, CEO and Founder of RCX Sports. “By collaborating with WRPA, IRPA, and ORPA, we’re building a foundation that supports local parks professionals and gives families access to sports experiences that shape young lives.”

“Together, we’ll create more opportunities for youth and communities across Washington to connect through recreation, teamwork, and play,” said Tiffany Hanzo Martin, Executive Director of WRPA. “RCX Sports is a national leader in youth sports experiences, and this partnership strengthens WRPA’s mission to support parks and recreation professionals while expanding sports programming.”

“This partnership with RCX Sports brings a unique and exciting approach to youth programming,” said Bryan Myers, Board President of IRPA. “We share a vision for an Idaho where every child has the opportunity to play, grow, and thrive – and every professional has the support they need to make it happen.”

“We are thrilled to partner with RCX Sports as our Strategic Partner for Youth Sports Programming,” said Amanda Parsons, Executive Director of ORPA. “This collaboration opens new opportunities for our members to access innovative programs and resources while connecting kids with professional leagues in fun and inspiring ways. Together, we can enhance youth sports programming across Oregon and create exciting experiences that spark a lifelong love of play.”

Participation in youth sports is linked to better health outcomes, stronger academic performance, and improved social-emotional skills. By partnering with regional associations in the Pacific Northwest, RCX ensures these benefits reach kids across Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and beyond.
