Leaders from the NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLS, NHL, MLB, USTA, and youth sports organizations unite to shape the future of play

Troy Vincent Sr. and Ice Cube Will Join Summit for Featured Conversations

Atlanta, GA — [December 3, 2025] — RCX Sports today announced the launch of the Next Play Summit, presented by TeamSnap ONE, taking place January 16-18, 2026, at the Orlando World Center Marriott in Orlando, Florida.

For the first time, leaders from the NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLS, NHL, MLB, and USTA will gather alongside key members of Parks & Recreation departments, Boys & Girls Clubs of America and YMCA, as well as youth sports operators, community leaders and leadership from TeamSnap, the #1 youth sports management platform. This landmark gathering signals a new era of collaboration and growth across the youth sports ecosystem, bringing together voices from both the national stage and local communities.

The Next Play Summit builds on the foundation of RCX’s long-standing NFL FLAG Summit, which has now expanded to reflect the multi-sport ecosystem in youth sports. Participation in youth sports is increasing, yet access gaps and resource challenges continue to persist. By uniting the country’s most influential leagues with grassroots leaders, the Summit seeks to drive solutions that will make sports more accessible, equitable, and sustainable, reinforcing RCX’s commitment to creating opportunities for all kids to play.

“The Next Play Summit is about bridging the gap between the national influence of professional leagues and the day-to-day realities faced by youth sports operators,” says Izell Reese, CEO of RCX Sports. “For the first time, we’re bringing together many of the most powerful voices in sports, from leaders like Troy Vincent Sr. and Ice Cube to the operators who show up for kids in their communities every single day. Alongside our league partners across the NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLS, NHL, MLB, and USTA, we’re creating a first-of-its-kind gathering that unites every corner of the youth sports ecosystem under one roof. By coming together in one room, we can collaborate in ways this industry has never seen before, building practical, scalable solutions that strengthen communities and expand opportunities for every child to play.”

Over the course of three days, the Next Play Summit will feature keynote addresses, interactive workshops, and thought-provoking panel discussions led by professional leagues and community organizations. Featured conversations will include Troy Vincent Sr., EVP of Football Operations at the NFL, and entertainer and entrepreneur Ice Cube. More than 500 operators, executives and stakeholders are expected to attend, with programming focused on critical issues such as athlete safety and wellness, operator sustainability, multi-sport programming and strategies for long-term growth. The agenda is designed not only to provide inspiration and insight, but also to generate actionable solutions that participants can take back to their communities.

“The strength of youth sports lies in collaboration,” says Troy Vincent Sr., NFL Executive Vice President of Football Operations. “Partnering with RCX and fellow leagues to shape the future of play ensures that we are not only growing the game, but also investing in the health, wellness, and opportunities of the next generation.”

TeamSnap ONE is the presenting sponsor of the Next Play Summit. RCX and TeamSnap originally partnered to bring best-in-class team management tools and world-class coaching resources, developed in partnership with the pro leagues, to the largest community in youth sports. With TeamSnap ONE, TeamSnap’s newly launched technology platform for clubs, leagues, and teams, the partnership promises to take youth sports to the next level.

“The strength of our partnership with RCX has always been about transforming youth sports for the better, and we are excited to kick off this bold new chapter,” says Peter Frintzilas, CEO of TeamSnap. “With TeamSnap’s community of 30 million parents, coaches and operators, along with our pro league partners and community leaders, we have the unique opportunity to elevate the experience for every part of the youth sports community.”
