LRPA and RCX Sports Launch Partnership to Increase Youth Sport Participation and Multisport Access Across Louisiana
Every Louisiana Parks and Recreation agency will now serve as operators for RCX Sports’ experiential programs
BATON ROUGE, LA. (August 21, 2024) – RCX Sports, the leader in creating accessible, inclusive youth sports experiences, today announced a partnership with the Louisiana Recreation and Parks Association (LRPA). Through this partnership, youth athletes throughout Louisiana will have access to RCX Sports’ multisport programming through their local parks and recreation agency.
RCX Sports offers experiential youth sports programs by collaborating with major professional sports leagues, including the NFL, NHL, MLS, MLB, NBA, WNBA and USTA, designed to get kids involved in youth sports. Louisiana is the second state to partner with RCX Sports to provide multisport programming at the local level, joining Alabama in creating a space for youth athletes to “Play with the Pros.”
Louisiana families will have the chance to enroll their children in several youth sports leagues, with each athlete getting the chance to don the logo of professional sports teams on their jerseys. Local parks and recreation organizations will act as multisport operators of NFL FLAG, NHL STREET, Jr. NBA Leagues, MLS GO and other leagues, with RCX Sports providing the equipment for these programs and facilitating the setup process.
