NEW LEAGUES WILL BRING YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL OPPORTUNITIES TO ATHLETES IN SOUTH FLORIDA
ATLANTA, August 15, 2022 – NFL wide receiver Tyreek Hill has teamed up with NFL FLAG and the Miami Dolphins to bring the latest official NFL FLAG league, Tyreek Hill NFL FLAG Football, to South Florida. Tyreek Hill NFL FLAG Football will offer elementary and middle school boys and girls a one-of-a-kind flag football experience, access to premier playing facilities, Miami Dolphins and NFL FLAG gear and apparel, and exclusive content and training tips from Hill himself.
“Tyreek Hill NFL FLAG is a great way for elementary and middle school-aged girls and boys in South Florida to learn the fundamentals and transferrable life skills unique to the game of football,” said Roman Oben, NFL Vice President of Football Development. “What an exciting opportunity for young Dolphins fans to play a fast paced game and help grow the sport!”
“I would like to thank the NFL, NFL FLAG and the Miami Dolphins for providing me with this amazing opportunity,” said Hill. “I am dedicated to providing kids with opportunities that I didn’t have growing up and teaching them skills that they will need to be successful in life and in sports.”
“This league will be like no other,” he added. “We will be great, we will be fast, and we will be legendary. Cheetah, out.”
Participants of the Tyreek Hill NFL FLAG football league will have exclusive access to NFL FLAG’s quality programming, special events, and experiences hosted by the Miami Dolphins and Hill.
“It is great to see current NFL players like Tyreek getting involved in NFL FLAG,” said NFL FLAG Executive Director and RCX Sports CEO Izell Reese. “These leagues have allowed us to grow the sport and create more opportunities to introduce the game of flag football to young boys and girls across the country.”
The fall season will run from October 9 through December 4, 2022, with league play hosted exclusively on Sunday afternoons. League locations include Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood/Cooper City, Palm City/Stuart, and Wellington/West Palm Beach, with more to be added throughout the year.
