Meet RCX Sport’s New CMO: Jaclyn Thomas

We’re thrilled to announce that Jaclyn Thomas has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer at RCX Sports. With nearly two decades of industry experience and a profound passion for empowering young athletes, Jaclyn’s leadership is set to redefine youth sports experiences.

In her previous role as Vice President of Marketing, Jaclyn demonstrated exceptional leadership and vision, propelling RCX Sports to new heights. Under her guidance, participation in programs such as NFL FLAG has more than doubled, reaching an impressive 750,000 participants in just four years. She has also helped to forge transformative partnerships with renowned brands like Oakley, Franklin Sports, Frito-Lay, and Gatorade, amplifying reach across the nation.

In this article, we sit down with her to learn more about her goals and dedication to youth sports.

Q: What are notable priorities for RCX Sports in the next 12 months?

A: We’re gearing up for some exciting events and growth within the RCX Sports landscape. First, we’re preparing for the NFL FLAG Championships, which is set to be televised for the first time ever, as well as MLS GO Cup and NHL STREET Showcases.

Additionally, we’re focused on expanding MLB Pitch Hit & Run and further developing Jr. NBA Leagues, particularly curating a pro curriculum to encourage more girls’ participation in sports.

Q: Can you discuss any initiatives that you’re particularly excited about?

A: As the only organization backed by professional leagues, like the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLS, and MLB, we’re fully committed to establishing RCX Sports as the premier youth sports brand. We’re aiming to reach more kids and enhance the quality of sports experiences for all. It’s an initiative I’m truly passionate about and excited to drive forward.

Q: What’s your earliest memory of participating in sports?

A: My earliest memory was initially resisting playing soccer to watch cartoons. Really, it’s true. However, joining a team coached by my dad changed everything. It taught me about perseverance, discovering my strengths, and the importance of embracing challenges. That said, I went on to play competitive soccer throughout my collegiate career.

Q: If you could have dinner with any athlete, past or present, who would it be?

A: Hands down, I’d choose the entire 1999 Women’s National Team. They epitomize passion and dedication, and their impact on women’s soccer has been immense.

Q: What’s a memorable sports event you’ve attended?

A: I really do love attending all kinds of sporting events, but I will say that the U.S. Open last year was an eye-opening experience. Witnessing the intensity and skill level in tennis firsthand was incredible—highlighting the unique experiences sports offer, whether individual or team-based.

Q: How do you think your passion for sports translates into your role as a marketer?

A: Simply put, I want to ensure more kids have access to the benefits of sports. From my own experiences, I understand the transformative power of sports, and I’m committed to fostering that same passion and opportunity for growth in every young athlete.

We’re excited for the journey ahead with Jaclyn leading our marketing team, and hope you join us in celebrating her commitment to shaping the future of youth sports!
